Fields Status (from Twitter)

Every effort is made to update the fields status as needed by 3 pm weekdays, 7 am Saturdays, and 11 am Sundays.

Get Field Updates via Text to Your Cell Phone

It’s easy to get updates on soccer field closings on your cell phone.

Text “follow newtonfields” to the number 40404

and you will start receiving status updates on Newton soccer field closures via text message. You can stop receiving these updates at any time by texting “stop” to the number 40404.

The text messages you receive will be from the “newtonfields” Twitter account, but you do not have to be a Twitter member to use this service.

NOTE: Your carrier will charge you for text messages using this service in the same way as any other text messages. How this service will affect your phone bill depends on what text messaging plan you've chosen for your phone, and text messaging allowance. Standard rates do apply.
