Late registration is usually possible if space is
available. It might still be possible register after a program is full, but your registration will
be put on a waitlist.
Names will be taken off the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If your daughter does not end up getting placed on a team, you will be
issued a refund. There is a $15 fee for late registration. This is
automatically included in the online price.
Once
you understand the NGS program options, please read the following before
proceeding with Online Registration:
General Information:
As usual, NGS is
using an outside service, Active.com, for taking online registrations.
Membership in the Active Network is not required for online registration
and NGS does not endorse becoming an Active Network member. However,
joining may make it easier to register next season.
The Active.com and NGS waivers must be agreed to on the following page.

session, and the NGS waiver by clicking

All questions
with a * must be answered to successfully
complete the registration process. You can get more information
about some questions by clicking on the tiny
icon.
Scholarship
It is the policy of Newton Girls Soccer that no
girl should be denied the opportunity to play soccer due to her family's
financial situation. Those applying for a scholarship should use the
paper form. All scholarship requests are confidential.
Non-credit card registrants
Online registration is designed to simplify the process for
parents and NGS volunteers, and simplifies the registration process by
allowing payment by credit card. NGS strongly encourages all registrants to
use the on-line system. Those that need to register offline by check may do
so by filling out the
paper form and
mailing it to NGS with a check.
Multiple child discount
NGS provides a $20 discount for the second child in the same
family, and a $30 per-child discount on each additional child (3rd or
beyond).
To obtain these discounts, all children
must be registered and paid for at the same time, even if they are in
different programs with different registration deadlines.
Refunds
Registrants who must cancel prior to June 10 (for travel)
or July 31 (for IM) can receive a refund of their registration fee, less $5 for processing.
After those dates, there are no refunds.
Please register only if you're sure you can play. Late dropouts
can leave teams shorthanded, making things difficult for the remaining
players.
Player Safety
No jewelry of
any kind may be worn during play--no bracelets, necklaces, earrings or
rings. Players may not wear beads, barrettes or other hard/sharp items.
Newly pierced ears may not be taped. Players may not participate
with casts or splints of any kind. Shinguards must be completely
covered by socks at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Please use a valid email address
The email address that you provide Active.COM with during registration is
used by NGS to inform you of your child's team assignment and convey other
important information during the course of the season. If you don't
provide a valid email address, you may have a hard time getting the
information you'll need for your daughter to play. Active.COM has
promised us that they will use these email addresses for no other purpose
(really, honestly..).
Last but
not least...
When you are finished registering online you should
receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation,
please email the
immediately to confirm your registration was successful.
