Late registration is usually possible if space is available.
You may still register after a program is full, but your registration will be put on a waitlist.
Names will be taken off the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis.
If your daughter does not end up getting placed on a team, you will be issued a refund.
There is a $15 fee for late registration.  This is automatically included in the online price.

General Information: 

Online registration and credit card payment is once again available for the upcoming NGS season. NGS is using an outside service, Active.com, for taking online registrations. Last spring almost 95% of NGS families used this service!

Membership in the Active Network is not required for online registration and NGS does not endorse becoming an Active Network member.

The Active.com and NGS waivers must be agreed to on the following page. You may print out the Active.com waiver at the end of the registration session, and the NGS waiver by clicking here.

All questions with a * must be answered to successfully complete the registration process.   You can get more information about some questions by clicking on the tiny icon.
Scholarship It is the policy of Newton Girls Soccer that no girl should be denied the opportunity to play soccer due to her family's financial situation. Those applying for a scholarship should use the paper form. All scholarship requests are confidential.
Non-credit card registrants Online registration is designed to simplify the process for parents and NGS volunteers, and simplifies the registration process by allowing payment by credit card. NGS strongly encourages all registrants to use the on-line system. Those that need to register offline by check may do so by filling out the paper form and mailing it to NGS with a check.
Multiple child discount

NGS provides a $20 discount for the second child in the same family, and a $30 discount on each additional child (3rd or beyond).  To obtain these discounts, all children must be registered and paid for at the same time, even if they are in different programs with different registration deadlines.

Note: due the late addition of the Kindergarten program, the K registration is separate from all other registrations (this season only).  To receive a sibling discount, register all non-K children first, and then register your K child.  You may request the appropriate sibling discount when registering your K child.
Refunds

Registrants who must cancel prior to January 31, 2006 can receive a refund of their registration fee, less $5 for processing.  After January 31, 2006 (April 1, 2006 for IM) there are no refunds. Please register only if you're sure you can play.  Late dropouts can leave teams shorthanded, making things difficult for the remaining players.
Player Safety No jewelry of any kind may be worn during play--no bracelets, necklaces, earrings or rings.  Players may not wear beads, barrettes or other hard/sharp items.  Newly pierced ears may not be taped.  Players may not participate with casts or splints of any kind. Shinguards must be completely covered by socks at all times.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
Please use a valid email address The email address that you provide Active.COM with during registration is used by NGS to inform you of your child's team assignment and convey other important information during the course of the season.  If you don't provide a valid email address, you may have a hard time getting the information you'll need for your daughter to play.  Active.COM has promised us that they will use these email addresses for no other purpose (really, honestly..).
Last but not least...

When you are finished registering online you should receive a confirmation email.  If you do not receive this confirmation, please email the immediately to confirm your registration was successful.
